Terms and licence
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms explain what you get when you buy SellProof and how you may use it. In short: you pay once, you may use SellProof on up to 3 of your computers, and you may not resell or share it.
1. Who we are and who sells SellProof
SellProof is made by Yulian Bohomol, trading as SetupLab (see the imprint). The sale itself is handled by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as the seller (merchant of record): it takes your payment, issues your invoice and charges the VAT for your country under its own buyer terms. These terms cover your licence to use SellProof.
2. What you get
- The SellProof desktop app for Windows (64-bit), macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux (64-bit).
- A licence key, sent with your order email.
- A one-time price, VAT included. No subscription and no monthly bill.
- Early buyers get every update free.
- Help by email at support@setuplabco.com.
3. Your licence
When you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SellProof for yourself or your own business.
- One licence key works on up to 3 computers you use. To move it to a new computer, deactivate it on an old one in SellProof under Settings โ License โ Deactivate. If that computer is gone, write to us and we'll reset the key.
- You may not sell, rent, share or give away SellProof or your licence key, publish the key, or let other people or businesses use it.
- You may not change, copy or reverse-engineer SellProof, or get around its licence check, except where the law allows this despite these terms.
4. What SellProof needs
- Your own free Meta developer account. Meta asks every Ad Library API user to confirm their identity once. That's Meta's rule, and you agree to Meta's terms for it.
- An internet connection for searches. The licence is checked about once a month; in between, SellProof works offline.
- A supported system, as listed in the FAQ on the sales page.
5. Meta's data and SellProof's results
SellProof shows ads from Meta's Ad Library API. Meta decides what that API returns, for example only product ads delivered in the EU and UK, and may change it. We keep SellProof working with Meta's changes as well as we can, but we can't promise that Meta's data is complete or always available.
PASS, UNSURE and FAIL, winning ads and competitor changes are a research aid based on that data. They are not a promise that a product will sell or make a profit. What you sell and how is your decision.
6. Using SellProof fairly
Use SellProof within Meta's terms and the law. Competitors' ads, photos and texts belong to them: use them for research and inspiration, not to copy.
7. Refunds
If SellProof won't run on your computer or can't connect to Meta, and we can't fix it within 14 days of your purchase, you get your money back. Details: refund policy. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. For slight negligence we are only liable if we break an obligation that is essential for using SellProof, and then only for damage that was typical and foreseeable when you bought it, up to the price you paid. We are not liable for decisions you make based on SellProof's results.
9. Changes and the law
We may update these terms for future purchases; the version shown when you bought applies to your purchase. Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
