Who we are
SellProof is made by SetupLab (Yulian Bohomol), Katowice, Poland. For anything about your data, email support@setuplabco.com.
This website
Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, this website and the demo use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a statistics service from our hosting provider Cloudflare. It loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com and counts page views and loading times. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't follow you across other websites. We only see totals, never who you are. We use it based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitors from German-speaking countries see the German page first. For that, Cloudflare tells the site which country a visit comes from; this isn't stored. If you pick a language with the EN / DE switch (here or in the demo), the site sets one cookie, sp_lang, that only remembers that language, for one year. It sets no other cookies.
The contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, order number (if you give one) and message. We use them only to answer you, based on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form passes your message straight to our mailbox through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which delivers the email for us (Brevo's privacy policy). The website itself stores nothing. We keep the email as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Buying SellProof
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller (merchant of record). They process your name, email, billing address and payment details under their own privacy policy (Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy). We never see your card details. We receive your name, email and order details so we can send you the download, check your license key and help with support. We keep them as long as you use SellProof and as long as the law requires for order records.
The SellProof app
SellProof runs on your computer and has no server of its own. Your settings, your Meta access token, your reports and your swipe file are stored only on your computer. The app connects to:
- Meta's Ad Library API, with your own developer account, to run your searches (Meta's privacy policy).
- Competitors' Shopify stores, to read their public product lists and prices.
- This website, to see whether a newer version of SellProof exists: once per start it reads one small file with the latest version number. Nothing about you or your computer is sent with it; like any page visit, it passes through our host Cloudflare (see "This website" above).
- Lemon Squeezy, to activate your license key when you enter it, and to check it each time SellProof starts. It sends the key and your computer's name, so you can see on your order page which computers use it.
SellProof doesn't send us anything: no usage statistics, no crash reports. If you email us a log file for support, we use it only to solve your problem.
The online demo
The demo runs entirely in your browser with made-up sample data. What you type stays in your browser tab and is gone when you close or reload it. Nothing is sent to us or to Meta. Your choice of light or dark mode, Pro mode and sidebar width is kept in your browser's local storage, only on your device.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or receive a copy: email support@setuplabco.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: UODO).
